School Achievements
The majority of our graduates from the Class of 2023 have chosen to attend a variety of four-year New Jersey colleges and universities. Some graduates will be attending two-year New Jersey colleges while others will be attending four-year out-of-state schools. One student will be taking a gap year.
The Class of 2023 has been awarded over $7 million dollars in merit-based scholarships.

Alumna Samantha J. '18 was selected to be the student representative for The Newark Museum Explorers Program. This program was named a finalist for the 2017 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award! Not only did Samantha represent the Newark Museum Explorers Program, she also had the additional honor of being the student speaker at the awards ceremony.

NEWARK, N.J., April 16, 2018 – Saint Vincent Academy is one of 17 Newark nonprofit organizations to receive part of the $30 million in grants from Prudential Financial, Inc. Saint Vincent Academy’s Former Administrative Team Receives Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth’s Peace, Justice and Integrity Award
On September 25, the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth were pleased to give the 2020 Mother Xavier Peace, Justice, and Ecological Integrity to the former Administrative Team of St. Vincent Academy: Sr. June Favata, SC, Sr. Margaret Killough, and Ms. Mary Nolan. Because of COVID-19, the award could not be presented last year.
Newark girls' school balances empowerment and service
The two women were discussing what Saint Vincent Academy in Newark meant to them, and both were at a loss for words.
