FOUNDED IN 1869
Saint Vincent Academy, a Catholic college-preparatory high school for young women located in the City of Newark, opened in 1869 and proudly continues the mission and tradition of its founders, the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth of New Jersey. Students and alumnae enrich society by living
their Vincentian legacy of service and by committing their hearts
to the noble task of bringing about justice for all.
